Patrick Cotter attended the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1987, later pursuing advanced studies at The American College of Financial Services to achieve the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation. After obtaining his FINRA Series 7 license, he began his career in Investment Banking and went on to serve in Vice President roles over 25 years at leading firms including SunTrust Bank Wealth Management (now Truist), Marsh McLennan, The Hartford, and Pacific Life, where he spent more than 12 years. In July 2024, Patrick retired from the corporate world to follow his passion for helping people realize their retirement dreams and create a stress-free financial future, and today he holds a Florida Life, Health, and Annuity license, as well as FINRA Series 6, 24, 63, and 65 licenses. Married to his college sweetheart, Jackie, since 1990, they are proud parents of two daughters and share a love for fitness, travel, and animals—especially dogs and cats.
